The Friendship Between Selena Gomez and Francia Raisa

All of us know about Francia Raisa as Selena’s best friend who donated her kidney to Selena Gomez when Selena was suffering from a medical disease called ‘Lupus’ in 2015. But lately, after Selena’s documentary ‘My Mind and Me’ was released, we sense that the two best friends might be feuding. Moving backward, here’s a small recap of their friendship journey.

The two girls met at a charity event in 2007 and clicked right away because both of them were just starting their careers in the television industry. Over the years, both were spotted hanging out at famous spots for different events or lunches/dinners. The internet was in love with their best friendship. Fast forward to 2015 when Selena’s medical condition worsened and she needed an urgent kidney donation. That’s when her best friend Francia stepped in and donated her kidney without a second thought. This news was revealed in 2017 at an award show where Selena thanked Francia for her support and for saving her life.

These two best friends were busy conquering the world with this friendship. But a year after the transplant, Francia was enraged at Selena for her unhealthy choices. However, Selena sought the help she required and both of them were close once again. However, recently in Selena’s documentary ‘My Mind and Me’, she called Taylor Swift the only best friend in the industry. Subsequently after, an online celebrity magazine posted about it to which Francia commented ‘Interesting’ and then unfollowed Selena Gomez. If you are wondering if Selena still follows Francia, then yes she still follows her.

There has been no update as to what happened between the two. But Selena Gomez was called out for not mentioning Francia to which she replied that she is sorry for not mentioning everyone she knows.
